Homemade Slow Cooker Chicken Dog Food Recipe

Ruth’s “Leftovers Are Delicious” Dog Food

My mother, Ruth, loved organ meat but was unable to get her human family to develop a fondness for them. We lived on a farm and raised our own meat so at butchering time she would make organ stew for herself and the dogs.

Organ meat is high in vitamins, especially liver, and very good for your dog’s health. You can use organ meats from a variety of animals including chicken or beef.
